Overview
Do you drink alcohol? If yes, we want to learn about your brain activity!
Researchers at the IU School of Medicine are looking for volunteers aged 21-27 to participate in an alcohol and brain imaging study.
Interested potential participants must complete
one 3 hour in-person screening. Following the in-person screening, qualified participants
in this study will come in for one 6½ hour study visit. You will have an MRI
while you work on a task and taste solutions, some alcoholic and some
non-alcoholic. The study takes places at the Neuroscience Center of Excellence (355 W. 16th St. Indianapolis, IN 46202).
Compensation is $325 for completing these procedures; $25 for the in-person interview and $300 for the study day.

Who is eligible to participate?
- Ages 21-27
- Must be willing to receive alcohol
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Must be willing and able to undergo an fMRI
- If female, must not be pregnant or breast feeding.
