Overview

The purpose of this study is to develop novel testing procedures that allow detailed profiling of an individual patient's hearing capabilities using objective measures compared to traditional, behavioral methodologies.

The purpose of this study is to develop novel testing procedures that allow detailed profiling of an individual patient's hearing capabilities using objective measures compared to traditional, behavioral methodologies.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    healthy
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Possess at least intermediate proficiency of the English language
Student at Indiana University
Hearing status within normal range
Exclusion Criteria
Hearing threshold at or below 15 dB hearing level (HL) at all audiometric frequencies between 250 and 8000 Hz, the potential subject is considered to have normal hearing and meet the inclusion criterion of the current study

This study takes place in Bloomington, IN and is only recruiting students from IU Bloomington.

Participants will be paid for their participation.
