Overview

The purpose of this study is to develop a repository of clinical data and outcomes, with and without corresponding specimens from individuals who have participated in TBCRC studies.

Description

The TBCRC Biospecimen and Outcomes Repository (the “TBCRC Repository”) is being established to fulfill the research mission of the correlative science aspect of the TBCRC, and to serve investigators affiliated with it. The repository will collate specimens linked to well characterized clinical and outcomes data originally collected with appropriate informed consent under other TBCRC studies, and that are now available for future use. Therefore, it will have enormous value in supporting correlative science studies by TBCRC investigators that integrate clinical outcome with markers of diagnostic, predictive, and/or prognostic value.
