Active Gaming: Modifying games to improve fitness.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of active gaming on a) cardiovascular outcomes, heart rate, ratings of perceived exertion, and physical activity counts using Accelerometry and b) enjoyment. We hypothesize that active gaming will
a) produce cardiovascular responses that are equivalent to light-to moderate intensity physical activity and
b) be rated as highly enjoyable by healthy adults.
