Role of Aging in GCN2-dependent wound healing

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy | aging | wound healing
  • Age: Between 20 - 100 Years
  • Gender: Male or Female
Inclusion Criteria
1.Age: either between 20-28 years old or at least 65 years old
2.Good general health
 
Exclusion Criteria
1. Diagnosis of diabetes mellitus
2. History of abnormal scarring
3. History of immunosuppression
4. History of abnormal skin infections
5. Allergies to xylocaine anesthetic
6. History of bleeding disorders
7. Use of anticoagulants
8. Unable to understand informed consent document
