Overview

The purpose of this study is to better understand why tendons become injured. We would like to find out if certain factors (for example, age, race, etc.) make it more likely that people have tendon pain.

Description

Participants will speak with researchers to discuss demographics, medical history, and social history.
Participants' medical record will also be reviewed for information that may relate to their condition and surgery.
A sample will be collected during the participants' scheduled surgery.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    tendon, acl, chronic tendon pain, knee replacement, surgery
  • Age: Between 21 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Individuals at least 21 years of age scheduled for a surgery to treat chronic tendon pain, ACL reconstruction, or knee replacement.
Pregnant women will not be eligible.
