Adults With Mild Cognitive Impairment and Their Care Partners Needed for Research Study!

Overview

ARE YOU A CARE PARTNER WHO IS SUPPORTING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER OR LOVED ONE WHO IS EXPERIENCING MILD COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT?  Join Our Study!

Researchers at the Indiana University School of Nursing are looking for adults with mild cognitive impairment and their care partners or their loved ones to take part in a study comparing two programs to find out the best way to help adults with mild cognitive impairment and their study partners to support each other to engage in meaningful activities and cope with memory problems.

“Mild cognitive impairment causes cognitive changes that are serious enough to be noticed to the person affected and to family members and friends, but do not affect the individual’s ability to carry out everyday activities.” (www.alz.org)

This study is funded by the National Institute of Nursing Research at the National Institutes of Health.

Your participation will help researchers to gain a better understanding of how well this program works to increase health benefits.
