Distress during COVID-19 Pandemic for Caregivers of Children with Hematologic and Oncologic Diagnoses

Overview

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on distress in parents/guardians of children with chronic hematologic and oncologic diagnoses.

Description

Parents/guardians will be asked to complete a questionnaire and provide demographic information. The questionnaire will be repeated at 3 months and 6 months after the initial. Parents/guardians may also be asked to complete a phone interview with researchers.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Cancer, Sickle Cell, Hemophilia
  • Age: Between 1 Years - 18 Years
  • Gender: All

Parents/guardians (at least 18 years of age) of children (under 18 years of age) with established cancer, sickle cell, or hemophilia diagnosis, diagnosed prior to March 1, 2020.
