Carbohydrate ingestion for the attenuation of central fatigue in hypoxia
Timothy Mickleborough, PhD
Primary Investigator
Overview
The proposed project will test whether carbohydrate intake can blunt the rise in central fatigue normally seen during exercise at altitude.
Description
The purpose of this study is to determine if carbohydrate ingestion prior to and during exercise at altitude is an effective means of delaying fatigue.
