Overview
Researchers at IU School of Medicine and the IU Center for Aging Research are looking for adults to take part in a study testing two programs to support caregivers in caring for their loved one with Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia.
Description
Who is Eligible
- Adults ages 21 and older
- Primary, family caregivers of adults with dementia
- The care recipient must live in the community (no nursing home or assisted living)
Participants can live anywhere in the country and do not need to see a certain provider in order to qualify.
What is Involved
- Take a brief survey over the phone to see if you qualify for the study
- Participate in either a telephone support program or receive resources by mail
- Take 4 brief follow-up phone surveys over the course of 9 months
Compensation
- Participants can earn up to $100 in gift cards for completing all of the study requirements
