Overview

ARE YOU OR DO YOU KNOW A TEEN WHO USES TIKTOK?  Join Our Study!

DID YOU KNOW?... People turn to social media (for example, Instagram) for social support when it comes to food-related contents (Newman et al., 2011). Teenagers, now approximately Gen Z (born between 2000-2010), have their own food culture and often use Tiktok as their preferred information sharing platform.

Researchers at Indiana University are looking for teens (ages 13-19) to participate in a study to better understand how food-related contents on Tiktok influence teenagers’ eating behavior.

Your participation will help researchers to learn more about the relationship between social media (Tiktok) and teens' eating habits.
