Overview

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how making gestures during learning helps children understand new vocabulary words in a foreign language.

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how performing gestures during helps children understand new vocabulary words.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    healthy
  • Age: Between 5 Years - 8 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Have normal hearing and normal or corrected-to-normal eyesight
Monolingual speakers of English
Exclusion Criteria
Children who have a history of sensory, developmental, cognitive and/or neurological impairments as well as any speech or language impairment
