Overview

The purpose of this research project is to examine how decisions are made in negotiation.

Description

This purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of different types of third party interventions in negotiations. More specifically, it studies how different levels of assertiveness of a mediator (no feedback, moderately assertive, highly assertive) and power differences between negotiators influence agreement rates, group cohesion, and feelings of shared responsibility.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    healthy
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Participants eligible for this study must be at least 18 years of age and an IU student.


Additional Information:
This study takes place in Bloomington, IN and is only recruiting IU Bloomington students.

Participants will be paid for their participation.
