Study Overview

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between weight and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS).

Study Description

The purpose of this study is to observe the incidence of MGUS among obese patients planning to have weight reduction surgery or who plan to enter a physician monitored weight loss program and to follow the regression or progression of MGUS following surgery or the initiation of the weight loss program.
