Alternate Tinnitus Management Techniques Using Mobile Applications

Study Overview

The purpose of this study is to determine if the symptoms of tinnitus can be reduced by using a mobile application.

Study Description

This study will evaluate a simple and portable training regimen to teach techniques that can be used to minimize the symptoms of tinnitus. Participation will include Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanning, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning, training on mobile applications, and behavioral testing.

Additional Information

Participants will be paid for their participation.

Participation in this research study will require a total of 6 sessions. Each session will last one to three hours. Five sessions will occur sequentially, starting Monday and ending Friday. Some sessions require a six hour fast. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
