Overview

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of diabetes on tendon health.

Description

Purdue University researchers are seeking non-smokers with diagnosed Pre-Diabetes or Type 2 diabetes to participate in a study evaluating the impact of diabetes on tendon. Ultrasound will be used to measure your tendon on three separate occasions. One fasting blood sample will be collected.
This research study aims to determine diabetes related blood markers that correlate to tendon health.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    diabetes
  • Age: Between 21 Years - 75 Years
  • Gender: All

Additional Information:
Participants will be compensated for their participation.
