Research Recruitment Database for Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
The purpose of this Research Recruitment Database is to establish a registry of potential study volunteers in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery for research projects conducted by the DeVault Otologic Research Laboratory, which specializes in a population of individuals of all ages who have hearing loss. We also need healthy volunteers without hearing loss.
The DeVault Research Lab is part of the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, and we are located downtown Indianapolis at Riley Hospital. The lab has been studying speech, language, and cognitive development in children with hearing loss for over 25 years! Over the years we have had many ongoing studies where participants are paid to participate and receive free testing, including their scores on standardized test measures.
If you are interested in learning more about current and future research opportunities with the DeVault Research Lab, contact the study team or click the link below to enroll in the database. Once enrolled, we can let you know if we have a study in which you may be able to participate.
Enrollment in the Research Recruitment Database does not obligate you to participate in any studies.
