Overview

The purpose of this study is to collect medical information on children with Biliary Atresia so that researchers will be able to learn more about the natural history of Biliary Atresia and its causes.

The purpose of this study is to collect medical information on children with Biliary Atresia so that researchers will be able to learn more about the natural history of Biliary Atresia and its causes.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Biliary Atresia
  • Age: Between 1 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Subjects need to have a confirmed diagnosis of Biliary Atresia
Subjects need to be greater than or equal to one year of age.
Subject either have their native liver or have a confirmed liver transplant.
Parent, guardian or subject is willing to provide informed consent, and when appropriate, the subject is willing to provide assent
Exclusion Criteria
Current participation in PROBE (Prospective Database of Infants with Cholestasis Study)
Inability to confirm diagnosis of biliary atresia
Inability/unwillingness of the family to participate in all scheduled visits.
Additional Information:
Participants will be paid for their participation.
