Overview

The purpose of this study is to use brain imaging and genetic biomarkers, cognitive and sensory testing and behavior ratings to study memory processing as it relates to aging in the brain.

Description

We are looking for adults age 65 or older who are concerned they may have memory difficulties for participation.  Participants should be without neurologic, major medical, or psychiatric conditions.  The study includes an initial visit and then yearly assessments.  Participation includes a physical and neurological exam, donation of a blood sample, tests to evaluate memory, as well as imaging of the brain.

Compensation is based on which study procedures are completed at each visit.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    healthy
  • Age: Between 65 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Right-handed
Fluent in English
Finished 8 or more years of education
Exclusion Criteria
No informant who can answer questions about the patient's cognition and general health
