Overview

The purpose of this study is to collect electrophysiological and behavioral data in order to investigate attention, memory, and visual perception in former and current cannabis users, relative to drug-naive controls.

Description

The proposed research will collect electrophysiological and behavioral data in order to investigate attention, neural synchrony, and visual perception in former and current users, relative to drug-naive controls.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Cannabis-use,Healthy
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 40 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Completion of at least a high school education
No history of cardiovascular disease, neurological disease, or head injury resulting in loss of consciousness that required medical assessment and/or treatment
Normal or corrected to normal visual acuity and normal hearing ability
CurrexpressionDISABLED2 drinks a day for men, 1/day for women, and/or no more than 5 drinks in a single sitting for men, 3 drinks in a sitting for women)
No history of illicit substance use and moderate alcohol consumption ( 2 drinks a day for men, 1/day for women, and/or no more than 5 drinks in a single sitting for men, 3 drinks in a sitting for women)
No cannabis use for the past year, and no history other illicit substance use (other than cannabis) for the past three months and moderate alcohol consumption ( 2 drinks a day for men, 1/day for women, and/or no more than 5 drinks in a single sitting for men, 3 drinks in a sitting for women)
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant women
