Overview

This pilot study will help researchers gain a deeper understanding of the interaction between bicyclists, the roadway and other roadway users.

Description

The purpose of this study is to look at interactions between bicyclist and vehicles from the perspective of the bicycle rider by equipping the bicycle with high definition video and other instrumentation.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    healthy
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria
Eligible for employment in the U.S. and have a valid Social Security number
Ride bike for at least 4 hours weekly
Live and bike in Bloomington, IN and Downtown Indianapolis, IN
Own their bike to use in the study
Be able to speak, understand, and read English
Exclusion Criteria
Bike must permit the mounting of sensors. This will probably exclude those riding recumbent bicycles or others without a head tube.

Participants will be paid for their participation.
