Active Music Engagement to Manage Acute Distress and Improve Positive Health Outcomes in Young Children undergoing HSCT and Parents
Study Overview
We are trying to find out if music play activities can be used to help decrease parent and young child distress and improve quality of life during stem cell transplant for cancer. We also want to know if this program can help parents and young children cope better with treatment.
Study Description
The purpose of this study is to translate and refine AME+P intervention protocol and training for young children and parents during the acute phase of stem cell transplant and to evaluate feasability and acceptability of AME+P during stem cell transplant.
