Overview
The purpose of this study is to better understand how the brain processes information.
Description
The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that microstimulation of the cerebellum can temporarily enhance or disrupt postural sway in a double-blind "placebo" controlled manner.
Eligibility
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
healthy

Age: Between 18 Years - 55 Years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Normal hearing
Visual acuity (with correction) of 20/30 or better
Completion of high school education
Exclusion Criteria
History of a head injury resulting in loss of consciousness > 5 minutes
History of electroconvulsive therapy
History of neurological illness
History of cardiovascular disease
History of psychiatric illness
History of alcohol or drug dependence in past year
Present medication for medical disorders that would have deleterious neurological, and/or cognitive functioning consequences
Alcohol use in the 24 hours prior to testing
Current illicit drug use
Presence of conductive material in the head
History of migraines
Additional Information:Normal hearing
