The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of a chemical prophylaxis to reduce the incidence of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) in high risk pediatric trauma patients. This study will help understand which pediatric trauma patients would benefit from VTE prophylaxis by validating screening criteria.
