OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE SUPPORTIVE CARE IN PEDIATRIC
J
Jenny Belsky, DO
Primary Investigator
Overview
By embedding OMM into targeted chemotherapy regimens, this study intends to demonstrate the positive impact of an innovative integrated treatment plan for patients who routinely experience these side effects as a consequence of their therapy.
Description
Successful completion of the outlined aims will advance our understanding
of OMM interventions in the pediatric
oncology field and begin to establish baseline medication needs for
constipation and pain. This increased
understanding will directly impact pediatric oncology supportive care and has
the potential to lead to a reduction in pharmacologic
supportive care interventions.
