Overview
This research is being done to collect data about the long term physical and psychosocial effects of orthopaedic trauma. This study will try out methods of collecting data, including questionnaires and clinic exams, in order to inform how larger studies collecting similar long-term effects should be done.
Description
If you join this study, you will be asked to fill out some questionnaires about your physical and mental health and then have an in-person visit. The in-person visit will include a physical exam, blood draw, and x-ray or DEXA of your injured area. There are risks associated with blood collection, clinical imaging such as x-rays, and answering questionnaires
Eligibility
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

orthopedic trauma

Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria:
- Participants who participated a previous Major Extremity Trauma and Rehabilitation Consortium study
- Participants who are 5-7 years post-injury at time of data collection
- Participants who met age criteria at the time of previous study data collection
Exclusion Criteria:
- Respondents who indicate they are unable to complete an in-person clinic visit.
- Participants who were terminated early from their parent study due to: Withdrawal, Incarceration, Death
- Participants who were lost to follow up to their parent study, defined as noncompletion of a majority of follow up visits and/or the final study visit.
